I love to look at the Crate & Barrel catalog! They have lots of great new stuff for fall. This new Quadri bedding line is one of my favorites.

An Etsy Find!

I had to have this cool ceramic hand that I found on Etsy. It fits right in with all my other paraphernalia. (Paint brush provided by me.) Thanks to the Silocurb shop for helping to decorate my studio.

Martha Stewart Updates Her Look

I found these online at Macys.com and was a little surprised that they were from Martha Stewart. This collection is called Hudson, and coordinates with her Black Band collection. Nice update, Martha!

Inspiration!

I need a blanket for my new sofa. I want something contemporary, but that also coordinates with my existing "stuff." After perusing my Flickr favorites, I was very inspired by some of the contemporary quilts I had saved. This one (titled Elements 19) is from Simply Robin's quilt set. It's fabulous!

Finally a New Sofa!

I've been searching all my local furniture stores for a click-clack sofa. It's the most affordable modern looking sofa, and (bonus) someone can sleep on it in a pinch. I found this Jetson Sofa Sleeper by Coaster Furniture at our local futon store (Suite Things) on sale for $319.00. It IS suite!

Nirvana!

This is my discovery of the week. It will undoubtedly save me lots of trips to the paint store. Benjamin Moore Paints has an online virtual fan deck of all their paint chips. It can be sorted by their current color collections, or view the entire deck. View colors by name or by number. Who needs online games? Let's paint!

Quadrant Plant Stand

I love to look at all the new plant and garden items every Spring. This is one of my favorite items so far this year. The quadrant plant stand from Crate & Barrel. The plant stand is still available, but the square planters are currently out of stock. Not quite as big as the picture implies (16 x 16 x 48 inches), but still super cool!

Finding the Right Look

I've been searching for a new look for my workspace. It's far too "beige" and definitely due for an update. And it's time for my 20 year old computer hutch to go to furniture heaven (or the Goodwill). My electronics are so much smaller now, I want to simplify and get a cleaner look. This grouping from Room and Board is really inspiring me. The Jake chair is probably the only item from Room & Board that I could afford, but I'll bet I can create a similar look that fits my budget. Benjamin Moore, here I come!

Come on! Inspire me!

It's too bad Crate & Barrel doesn't currently have any room groups in their catalog as inspiring as this right now. It's one of their best efforts in recent years. The City Mink armless sectional, Abaca ottoman, Optic Sea Glass lamps and Mix side tables are all still available. The throw pillows are not.

Inspector Ollie

Ollie is the quality control expert when it comes to all the fabric items in our house. I bought a yellow flannel sheet from L.L. Bean to use as a blanket on the bed, and he had to inspect it right away. Only time will tell if it's up to his rigid "soft and fluffy" standards. The color's good for him anyway.

Pantone Coffee Mugs

What designer doesn't dream in Pantone colors?  Now we can literally decorate with them.  This set of four coffee mugs is from Uncommon Goods.  Also available in bright colors and espresso.  

Furniture or Artwork?

I spotted this fabulous credenza by Thomas Wold at Design Public.  It also comes in neutral colors, and a matching bookcase is also available.  

Fabulous Renovations from Strange Closets

I discovered Strange Closets while I was looking for contemporary interiors on Flickr.  They have a wonderful (huge) photo library there.  Their website has even more information and great renovations to drool over.  This photo is from the West Ridge Bungalow section.  Just look under the home tours section and set aside lots of time to browse!

Take a look at the great art prints from Blue Art Studio.  This one is titled, "Stripes."  Very reasonably priced and many fabulous designs!

Love it!  This Bagru quilt from CB2 makes the perfect background for their Global pillows.  The quilt and shams are currently on sale!  

New at Crate & Barrel

These colors are definitely making a comeback!  Crate & Barrel has quite a selection of new citrus colored kitchen items including mixing bowls, cutting boards, canisters, measuring cups and spoons, and dishtowels.
