The Brick Artist

Now this is what I call a job!  New York artist Nathan Sawaya (aka The Brick Artist) makes amazing sculptures with Lego blocks.  His works are currently booked on museum tours through 2011, but you can still see them on his website gallery!

Carved Crayons

These carved crayons have been around for awhile, but they still amaze me!  If I tried to do this, I'd end up with a mountain of broken crayons.  Created by sculptor Pete Goldlust.

Artist Spotlight: Steve Cambronne

Aren't these metal sculptures great?  They're made by artist Steve Cambronne.  Check out the entire selection of wonderful mod sculptures he has on his website.

Artist Spotlight: Jennifer Maestre

This is too cool!  Aurora by Jennifer Maestre is a sculpture made entirely of colored pencils.  She cuts them in 1 inch sections, drills holes in them, sharpens them, and strings them together like beads.  Click on her name to see her website and portfolio.  She also has an etsy shop.
