Anxiously Awaiting Fall

Ollie is tired of the summer heat. He's ready for cooler nights, shorter days, and a lot less shedding. Well . . . that last one is really MY wish. I'm growing weary of "barf patrol."

Tuesday Morning Smack Down

I told him to stop picking on Kiki, but NO . . . he had to be Mr. Bossypants. There must have been quite a fray while I was at work. He bit her tail, and she returned the favor by shredding his nose. ALL of his nose. (sigh) I'm sure he earned it.

My Little Shadow

Since I'm at home more often now during the day, Ollie's been my little helper. Unless there happens to be some choice sun coming in the side window. Then he prefers to block the stairway.

This is for me, right?

No sooner did my new quilting fabrics show up in the mail than Ollie parked his bootie right on the pile. "What are you gonna make me this time? A nice cushy quilt???" Thanks to the Blueberry Buckle Etsy shop for the beautiful Kona Solid fabrics. I can't wait to start cutting!

Inspector Ollie

Ollie is the quality control expert when it comes to all the fabric items in our house. I bought a yellow flannel sheet from L.L. Bean to use as a blanket on the bed, and he had to inspect it right away. Only time will tell if it's up to his rigid "soft and fluffy" standards. The color's good for him anyway.
