Squatters!

We have a new tenant at our town home. One of the tiniest birds I've ever seen. I tried my best to sway her to a more appropriate location, but no such luck. Her nest went up in record time, right on top of the mailbox. The first picture is the nest by itself, and the second is one with the little momma squatting in her new abode. Now we're waiting impatiently to see if a little family emerges.

Windowboxes Get a Makeover!

I'm glad to see that yard and garden items are finally getting a contemporary facelift! I spotted this lovely iron windowbox at windowbox.com. (It can also be used with a liner if your pots aren't a pretty as these.) They have several modern designs, and tons of other supplies to fill your small-space gardening needs.

For the Modern Lollygagger

I LOVE this outdoor furniture from Loll Designs! Their no-maintenance furniture is made of recycled materials. (Go Club chair and side table pictured.) Available in lots of cool colors and numerous very nice designs.
